Over the weekend DNA Shred Stix/Star Racing/Yamaha and our squad comprised of the lone member at the moment, #577 Martin Davalos focused in deeply at the task of turning in their best and grabbing a finish back up front. The AMA Supercross Lites East series setup to do battle in Jacksonville, Florida at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium before 38,321 fans. Dallas SX Update

Round five of the AMA Supercross East coast Lites Series went off with a bang to a huge fan base inside a newly designed stadium in the Dallas area this past Saturday night. Both classes had their exciting moments on the track to say the least. DNA Shred Stix/Star Racing/Yamaha had their hand in all the commotion, with #577 Martin Davalos putting on an inspiring performance throughout the night of racing. To begin the day both teammates showed promise, as Davalos clocked in at 3rd quickest in Timed-qualifying. Unfortunately, #341 Nico Izzi who fractured part of his foot at the previous race, still went out and attempted to ride practice, but after doing a few laps it was obvious he’d need some more time to heal. The Lites East Main Event shot out of the gate, with the FMF backed Izzi sitting 7th, and with the poise of good things to come. Anstie Challenges Weimer in San Diego!

Over the weekend, AMA Supercross visited Qualcomm stadium in San Diego, California for yet another exciting west coast round. Broc Tickle #20 and Max Anstie #48 of DNA Shred Stix/Star Racing/Yamaha showed up knowing this was going to be one of their last shots at some quick success. With the normal day program abbreviated due to the harsh weather, timed qualifying surely showed the team was in contention for strong performances by both riders.

Heat #1 had the Star Racing duo of Tickle and Anstie lined up on the gate, it was Anstie grabbing the holeshot who has honed his starting skills as of late. Tickle rounded the first turn in the rear of the field after getting out off the gate in a subpar fashion. On lap one with a small bobble entering a rhythm section, Anstie dropped into 3rd, while Tickle dodged a ton of wrecks and picked his way through the pack. Upfront Anstie rode tentatively with the compromised track conditions, but finished 3rd. Thankfully Tickle at the end of six laps, successfully stayed out of trouble and finished up in 5th.

When the Lites Main Event took to the track, it was Anstie again getting the best of starts sitting in 4th, while Tickle circulated outside the top fifteen. Up front,. Read More>
